Feature suggestion:
At the start of the mustering phase, a prompt asks players if they want simultaneous or turn-based mustering. Mustering will be simultaneous if consent is unanimous. A muster conflict (such as two people being able to muster into the same sea) forces turn-based mustering.

I believe that simultaneous mustering, that is, all players mustering at the same time should be default on thronemaster, as opposed to mustering in turn order. I know this technically isn't how the rules say to do it, but I really believe it would speed up  live and PBEM games substantially.

In general, this is how most people play the board game (in my experience), and 95% of the time, what I choose to muster won't be affected by other player's choices. I believe this suggestion strikes the right balance, by allowing players to choose turn-based when it matters, and simultaneous when it doesn't

thoughts?

It would rather slow down pbems even more since you add in an extra cycle of all players.

Also I dont think it is possible to integrate it in developing mechanics of what we already got.

I will admit, I basically never play PBEM, so I don't have much experience there, but I have a hard time imagining it would slow it down.

It adds an extra step for the prompt, true, but the speed gained from everyone being able to muster at the same time seems like it would almost certainly be faster than everyone doing it in order.

I would tend to refuse almost all the time if this rule is applied. I am very inteterested on what the people before me do before choosing what I do. Having a Siege Engine, a Knight or Ships coming right next to me is not the same thing and directly impacts my own recruit.

This could also be a reason for a slower game since many players would simply wait until they see what everyone else does.

Hello everyone! First post here, i'm new of this site.
I think there's a simple solution (i mean, simple by logic: i don't know if it is simple to code too, i neither know if it is POSSIBLE to code) and it is: you can always muster, even if it's not your turn. No need to vote!
So, if you're sure to muster a knight (for instance) no matter what other players do, do it! If you want to see first and then decide, all go on as usual.

Just my two cents

Which could in itself lead to an unending story.
Baratheon wants to see what Stark is mustering
Stark wants to see what Baratheon is mustering

Everyone waits until game progresses

Well, if it's Stark turn it's Stark turn: don't know if there's a rule, but if he delay for too long guess he could be kicked
