Topic: Preceding Mustering - Best Musters For Each House
Posted: 2019-Feb-05 13:17
Well, here it also depends what other houses have done before.
In general, I feel like preceding mustering lowers payout for CP* order in the first turn. Since you have more units, most houses should expand in the first round.
Here are my suggestions.
Baratheon
With preceding mustering there is no more need to put CP* on Dragonstone in the first turn. Muster one footman and a ship in the port. This way you can take King's landing and get 3 power tokens. This seems optimal play to me.
Martell
Muster a ship in ESS and a footman. Then CP in Salt shore and march from Sunspear to Starfall with a footman and to Yronwood with a knight. Leave one footman behind in order to CP* in round 2.
Tyrell
If Martell mustered 2 ships, you should probably muster 2 of them as well. Otherwise, muster only one ship in WSS and one footman in Highgarden. Then you can march one footman to The Arbour, a knight to Oldtown and a footman to Three Towers.
Lannister
Lannister should probably muster a ship in the port and a footman. Then support(+1) in Golden Sound, CP in port, march(+0) in Lannisport, march(+1) in Stoney Sept to guarantee to get Riverrun.
Alternatively, you can CP* in Lannisport and CP in Stoney Sept for even more money and troops.
Greyjoy
Your power are the ships, therefore I would muster 2 additional ships in IMB. Then you can attack Lannister or Stark.
Stark
The north has plenty of resources, however, they are stretched thin. As a result, I would prioritize expanding on new territories. Muster a footman in The White Harbour. In Winterfell muster a footman and a ship in the Shivering Sea. Send both footmen from White Harbor to Karlhold and Castle Black. Send a knight from Winterfell to Moat Callin and one footman to Mountains of the Moon. Leave the last footman at Winterfell in order to use CP* next turn and muster there.
With this strategy, you will get 4 power tokens each turn and get some supply.
