I am not a seasoned player, and if I have played some games in 6p configuration, this was my first 3p, and it was painful !
I am pretty used to strategy games though, but even turning this a lot in my head, and knowing better of the errors I made, I would probably ended up being washed away even if playing really well due to a set of awful Wesetros cards and the harsh Stark position in 3p.
Baratheon destroyed me, Lannister was preparing for late-game that never arrived.
The game is here : https://www.game.thronemaster.net/?review=1&game=184704
And the logs here : https://www.game.thronemaster.net/?game=184704&show=log
Westeros cards :
T2 : Bara chooses to do nothing / Nothing happens / Wildling attack power 6 when I was already the poorest guy.
T3 : Supply update / Disastrous Clash of Kings with much less PT than others guys / Storm of Swords
Then Bara attacks Narrow Sea and the game is pretty much lost at this point in time. Did numerous errors from now on, but anyway, I feel that they could have lengthened the game but not avoided my destruction
T4 : Supply update / PT collection / No raid.
T5 : Finally muster comes but too late. ^^
Lessons learnt :
- Probably should have gone to Karhold turn 1 to start consolidating PTs. However, I probably still need to leave a PT in White Harbor and this cripples expansion.
- My bidding was not optimal, should have put more on the fiefdoms especially knowing that the 3rd pile of Westeros card was Put to the Sword. But with so few PTs, not sure I would have got something and IT was not mine.
Anyway, would be interested in having opinions from more seasoned 3p players to see how they feel a Stark can behave when there is no mustering in turns 2/3/4 and a CoK turn 3.
Well done to PeterSchlemil and Strange_undead anyway !
