Does anyone know what the most balanced setup is for a 4 player game with the Mother of Dragons expansion with no Targaryen? We like playing with vassals but have no idea what the most fair setup is.

Alternatively can anyone say how good the setups are for the DwD expansion? Do you recommend them?

DWD can be a lot of fun and the alternative house cards are fitting, imho.

The vassal system is as good as it comes. You can proceed with the normal turns in choosing your house or just make it a lottery. It matters not. My personal favourite is Arryn in this set-up.

Alternative is to play without MoD, 1st ed map, 4 players with Tyrell (no Greyjoy and Martell, Pyke unpassable) and a boost for Tyrell (typically crown + barrel on Oldtown)
