This is mostly caused by a provided game update and locally cached game data.
Please clear your browser cache and rejoin your game.

How can I clear my cache and/or cookies?
In most cases it is enough to reload the game via 'F5' or 'Strg+F5' on your keyboard.

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options. Select the Privacy panel. Click on "clear your recent history" and choose cookies and cache.

Toolbutton -> Options -> Under the Hood -> Clear browsing data

How do I create a new game? Why am I not allowed to create new games?
Only admins and 'MoT' members are allowed to create new games. For copyright reasons it is the game creators responsibility to verify that each game participant does own the original board game.
If you own the board game you may also check this for requesting 'MoT membership'.

Why do I have to wait so long for new game features?
This project is exclusively realized in our free time. Besides working for our full-time jobs we still have got other hobbies and responsibilites to attend to.
Furthermore, we prefer a bug free software instead of having many features. The luxury of being a non-profit group
But don't be disappointed. We are very aware of your needs and won't drop this project until we say otherwise.

We can only attend to problems we know of. You have to report those bugs either via creating a new case or reactivate one which might represent your problem.

In which order are house cards resolved? Vanilla AGoT FAQ says in the order of the fiefdoms track, but in the 2nd Edition it is the Iron Throne track. So which one?
It depends on the House Cards you are using!

For the 1st Edition House Cards the text abilities are resolved in order of the Fiefdoms track.
If you are playing with the 2nd Edition House Cards the Iron Throne track defines the order..

My preparing games disappear from the public online list. Why?
Preparing games will be deleted when it's likely that they won't be started soon.
Therefore, preparing LIVE games will disappear after 12 hours of inactivity,
whereas PBEM games are displayed up to 7 days.

Activity is defined by joining and disconnecting players.

Why am I not listed in the player rankings?
There are some requirements before your name is listed:

1) You have to finish at least 10 rated games.
2) Your last game is not older than 4 months.

What happens to my aborted/deleted games?
Not much. An aborted game is not deleted for good.
You just cannot see or access aborted games. If requested an admin can reactivate one.

What are the differences between the known board game editions and this version here?
This online edition was developed with the very first edition of Game of Thrones - The Board Game.
We started to implement features and (optional) rule changes from the 1st expansion A Clash of Kings. During the process a 2nd expansion and a whole new edition (generally kwon as 2nd Edition) of the original board were released.

Now we are also trying to add the 2nd Edition rules and house cards.
Therfore, check the first edition rules if you have started with the 2nd Edtition at home and now difficulties with this version.

I believe I've found a bug. What should I do?
Before opening a new case in our bugtracker you should check following things first:

1.
Sometimes game rules are misunderstood or not fully known (mostly regarding ports and/or CP orders). Check your game very carefully to confirm that it's really a bug. If you are not sure ask other players for help.

2.
You can find our bugtracker the main menu bar (Tracker >> ABuG Tracker)

3.
Use keywords for the search and filter functions of our bugtracker to check if your case is already filed.

a) If you find an active case add your report there.
b) In case that you found only closed cases you should reactivate the most recent, but only if your report matches the filed description.
c) Open a new case if you cannot find any reference about your problem. Follow the instructions in our bugtracker for creating new cases.

4.
Our admins will be notified via email about new bugtracker entries.

5.
Optionally check the latest threads in our help and develpment forum for related problems. You can leave a short notice and a link to you new or edited case there.
