Topic: Changes for processing MoT rights
Posted: 2015-Jan-19 12:00
Hi folks,

we made some changes regarding MoT applications and are introducing an automatic system to handle clear case szenarios.

From now on you can sign up >> HERE << for our MoT rights manager. This is also described in the MoT applications forum thread.

Everyone who already gained MoT rights until today was registered there in advance.

So what does it do?

This system grants and strips MoT rights from and to all active accounts every 24 hours.
Our MoT requirements are still the same though. Your number of games, kick rate, user profile and player reports are taken into account.
The kick rate is calculated without the number of your running games which is in contrast to the users' profile view. Stripping MoT rights is only triggered by 5% or more though.

In addition, you are able to obtain Super MoT status to be able to create hostless games. But that's only for exceptional players.

Reported or sanctioned users still need to apply manually in the MoT thread or wait until their reports get outdated. Other or new users may use the forum thread, but are very welcome to sign up the automatic MoT manager.
This system was planned to lighen our workload and perhaps reduce some player reports or aborted games. For this in particular, however, there is another thing in queue which will be introduced in near future.

A last marginal note:
On any status change of your account you will be notified via pm from one of our dummy accounts. Do not try to thank or insult him or whatever. Your message will go unanswered, although he is a great listener.

Thanks for the update JM.

I am curious if there are any additional requirements for "super MoTs" and just want to know what is needed in order to become or stay a "super Mot?"

I am happy that I can now create hostless unrated games for people but just want to make sure I understand what I am liable for in these hostless games...I.E. if players act up or spoil games does it in any way affect me?

Also, is there a list or way to identify who "super MoTs" are for those who are looking for someone to create a game for them?

Thanks and keep up the good work

No. Only participatipating aplayers are affected.

No, not yet. I also wouldn't know the benefit

*clicks like*

I assume the exceptional players are called to court by the King automatically?

I guess the benefit is that people know who to spam if they need a game. knowing these super MoT's can't hide behind the excuse of having no time . <-- wich seems a totally good reason to hide that title from others...

Hey there,

I applied for MoT status a couple days ago through this new system.  I think I have all the requirements met but I haven't heard anything back yet.  When/how would I know that I made it through?

And thanks for setting all this up!

justinlevy010: it checks for MoT status daily, so by now you should have received your MoT rights. I can see that you forgot to select your gender on your profile, which is one of the criteria. Try that, and let's see whether the system gives you MoT rights tonight.

I applied for MoT rights but also forgot to specify my gender in advance. I've since corrected the problem, but my application has been frozen for over a week. Any advice?
According to your profile you are MoT atm

Hello! I'm kind of new here, but I login daily and I wouldn't have any problem with creating hostless games. So, if you need to, I could have the Super MoT rights. I promise I'll be good. I would like to help.
Oh, and if it's needed, I could pump my chest and yell "Super MoT" too hahaha.
