IMPORTANT:
1) Since many of you are currently playing in other PbF games with different House banners, write your messages in your own House colour to avoid confusion. Not all your messages, only the ones concerning your game moves.
2) The game map is not easy to follow, but, if you have any doubt, on the top of the screen there is a dark bar which shows anything on the field and on the player boards (like available cards, units, power tokens). You can makes changes on the map, but they won't affect the other players: every change generates a different url and only my game link will be the official one, updated step by step.
3) Send your orders, house cards and bids to me with a clear subject in a private message, write the other public moves in this thread, diplomacy is hidden and runs via private messages. Contact me if you have any other doubt or problem.
4) When your turn is done, check who is the next player, write it in your post and send that player a private message to let him know he has to move.

COMBAT

a) Combat Sequence
Combats should be handled like the following pattern:
- Player A attacks Player B and posts this into the forum using the following Combat Scheme (look at point b below);
- Player A waits for possible neutral support;
- Player A sends a PM with his chosen house card to the Moderator and writes this to the forum;
- Player B can write his house card directly into the forum, as he knows that Player A has already choosen his house card;
- Player A writes his housecard to the forum as well and posts the results;
- Maybe one of the two player might use the Valyrian Steel Blade;
- Moderator has the possibility to control if the posted house card of Player A fits to the card which he received via PM.

b) Combat Scheme
Housename is attacking Housename from Areaname in Areaname with Placeholder. Calling for support of Housename. Housecard sent to Playername.

To confirm here, some house card ambiguity:

Davos: Applies only to Stannis, or to your 4-card? You mentioned the latter, but I think it should be Stannis, wherever he is (even in someone else's hand). Means he CAN always be worth 3 even if you don't get Stannis, and adds a bit of drama to the selection. I suppose we should decide this quickly.

Salladhor: Replace 'Baratheon' with whatever house you control. Agreed.

Victarion: Replace 'Greyjoy' with whatever house you control. Agreed.

Kevan: Replace 'Lannister' with whatever house you control. Agreed.

Save me Melisandre fellas!

Zizzeus Guide to AGoT

I'd suggest you to use Davos' ability with your 4-card and not with Stannis: I always applied it this way with my friends, because we don't like situational abilities too much.

Anyway, here we can apply the rule you prefer the most. If you want it to work that way I have nothing against it, just find an agreement on it before the game starts I'm only the host here, so you are supposed to have fun. But if I ever play another one of this games I'll apply Davos' ability to my 4-card.

Applying it to Stannis instead of to your 4-card, is changing the purpose of the ability. I don't think we should do this. There will be enough drama in the selection already. Although if others vote for it, I do not really care enough to be against it.

It would be a very interesting dynamic if we played it as zizzeus mentioned. I'm curious to see how that would play out, but I think it's probably better to apply it to your 4-card for the sake of simplicity.

Ooopss..I missed something!! I didn't read the rules and just saw the map...It is a mess for me...Can we find another one to do it for me?!!

i think it could be nice if Davos ability refers to Stannis. could open up for some moves where players work together and get rid of stannis befor Davos is played. or maybe even a Patchface-move could occur here
i dont mind so much, but i suggest we make Davos only count with Stannis and not the other +4 card, since it opens up some possible interactions and moves. and i dont think it weakems the Davos card that much all in all. wrote this on my phone so sry for any mistakes or whatever.

ti clarify: i vote for making Davos ability only work with Stannis, but dont mind if we do it as usual with any other +4

What do you mean with: just saw the map? I can't seem to find it. Also: what rules? We just pick items following the scheme of Merlo, and when it's finished we start the game? Or am I missing the point completely?

Zizzeus Guide to AGoT

You count weird, zizzeus, pity you don't make those mistakes during the game. Popella said he preferred the option of using Stannis, so did zaza, so did you. Only me and frey (and merlo, but he ain't playing), said we had a slight preference to keep it normal. Konstantinos basically said he doesn't understand the game and wants to be replaced, but he might have looked at the wrong rules, since there's nothing to understand here imo...

Konstantinos basically doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of playing with this map. There's not a direct link in the main post of this thread, because I warned you about the map via private message the last week, but he didn't have that message from me, so he just realized that.

I'm playing and hosting two games with this map. In the first moments it's really difficult to understand what there's on the field and it will never be as perfect as the online platform on Thronemaster, but I think it's playable.

What's there to warn? It's the map of the boardgame... So what do we do? Find a replacement?
