Yes, I definitely know that there will be more than two Defence Orders. It was the reason for a recent bug, where a replaced player had multiple Defence Orders, and the engine refused to do anything because it is illegal to have more than two of them. But this bug is resolved by now.

hold your horses guys...

player is kicked -> all orders are transformed to defense orders.
This is a player action and not covered by any official rules. Do not try to use any rules on this case here.

After planning/Raven all unusable Raid Orders are removed automatically. This has no effect on the game at all, except speeding it up!

Support for or against neutral forces is not possible. This will not be changed. Also there might only 1 game out of 1000 where someone wants another player to get another castle for free... what is this nonsense about? I won't waste any more of my time with this discussion.

not a bug, it's a feature. replacing already kicked players is nonsense without checking orders first.

neutral forces are not necessarily a castle. this would also be useful for the team games

cosmetic change please:

If a player gets kicked, all the orders will turn into Defense Orders, and all units become neutral units.
all HIS orders will turn into Defense Orders, and all HIS units become neutral forces.

changed it to

all THEIR orders will turn into Defense Orders, and all THEIR units become neutral forces.

as there are not only male players on here

I only used 'his' as word 'player' defaults to male, like 'boat' to female

Ok, i was attending to this apparent rule change in this online version of the game, and it seems to not be true:

A special quirk: If a text ability IMMEDIATELY kills a unit, and that unit was the last one, the combat is over instantly, without calculating strength of supporting units/house cards. The party which has units left wins.
I used Mace tyrell against an enemy infantry sole unit in an attack.  My opponent played a house card with a sword and had higher overall strength in the battle.  Since I immediately killed his sole unit the combat should've been over instantly.  Instead, I both lost the battle (retreated back where I came from) and took the sword casualty to my unit.

What's up with that?

Thanks

@eumales: I cleared up the paragraph. There is the possibility to play with 1st edition House Cards. The paragraph you mention is valid only then. If you play with 2nd edition House Cards, Mace works normal, not ending a combat directly.

Does player elimination while he has no terrain units work properly ??

In game I am playing now I've attacked tyrell's ships while Tyrell was already eliminated... I've thought that, according to this information, those ships should be converted to neutral forces... In fact they were not ! We had regular battle and Tyrell was able to choose Loras to lead his forces... Here is a link...

https://game.thronemaster.net/?game=63500&review=1

And log: https://game.thronemaster.net/?game=63500&show=log

So Tyrell could not set his orders but he was able to choose house leader. Ii it a bug, or what ?

Thanks for clarifying.  That makes sense, and nice to know the rules for second edition are (I think) as they should be.
