We are forced to relocate our website in june. So dont be troubled if the site goes down for while. We're looking for a new web host, atm... our web host is going down this month. Therefore we are looking for replacement.

You may post suggesstions for a new domain (name). Please check if the domain is free first

I have 2 shared website hosting accounts of my own and I'm willing to let you use them for free if you have no other alternatives. Both are heavily underused, I have some sites on them but now most of them are defunct or not getting any significant amount of traffic.

From experience I know that one of these 2 can take a lot of pummeling in terms of Internet traffic/bandwidth, but since they ARE shared hosting accounts, I'm not sure what's the cap on resource consumption and hard disk space.

I doubt this site generates anything excessive of the Internet traffic/bandwidth nor I think that it's large on disk space, however I might be wrong. Let me know these details if something like this may sound interesting.

In case of domains, pretty much ALL .com .net .org .info .mobi .biz etc etc etc domains have to be bought. I buy most of the domains from godaddy.com where you can often find coupons and deals to get a domain for $7-$8 (american dollars).

I know there's a free domain service (.tk) but I'm not sure if they have any limits on bandwidth. I never used this one. I used .co.cc domain before but they are now not operating any more...

Well, that's about it, if I remember anything else I'll post here again.

Yeah, just checked, there are some ghosts on those servers (or are they white walkers maybe ), I get almost no traffic on those sites I have hosted there - so pretty much you would be getting the whole thing.

EDIT: they are paid for another 2 years, so if you decide to host there it could be pretty longterm deal

Anyway, best of luck with finding the hosting provider, I know how painful it can be :/ - I've changed dozens of webhosts in last couple of years...

Personally i'm using www.all-inkl.de as my webhost. Didn't have any problem with them in the last years, so i can safely recommend them.
