My first 2 games (offline) were about 5 hours (3 and 6 players). I even won the 6 player game in turn 10!
I think the shortest game was about 1,5 hours in 3 turns with a winning barratheon.
I think in offline play in depends on how many strategic discussion and intrigues are going on.

Can't really remember the shortest one, but my longest game (offline) took 8 hours. We played the second edition first time and there were quit a lot questions.

3 of us just did a pbem game in 47 minutes. It was fast because we meant to run it live and couldn't figure out how to do that once we'd started it. It was also fast because I set the "second edition" settings thinking we'd have another player, and the game ended up with a Lannister victory on turn 3.

The settings really make a difference!

LOL @ 191 days. I haven't yet played any pbems (what does pbem mean anyway lol), but offline my friends and me (5 of us) played AGoT several times and every time the game lasted 5-7 hours, with at least 2-3 hours spent in seemingly endless negotiations and plots - we even leave the room and have private negotiations in 2 or 3 and then go back . We take it rather seriously.
