Hey Folks,

I saw some of you really would appreciate a game option where players can draft their house cards before the game starts to spice up things and do something new than the standard 2nd edition game. Hereby I want to announce that https://swordsandravens.net supports 3 different kind of drafting modes:

- Normal draft: Allows you to draft from all available house cards (Base, ADWD, AFFC, MoD)
- Limited draft: Allows you to draft only from the selected scenario
- Thematic draft: Allows you to draft from Base game house cards and ADWD house cards, but only the ones which refer to your house.


Feel free to try out. Remember, everyone can create games and check it out. In case you don't have a Google account, registering on Discord just takes 2 minutes and you have access to SnR as well to the community behind it and you can even use one of the voice channels there which makes live games even better.

It's time to announce some new features that have been added recently:


- The march resolution is now animated with march markers showing which units go where
- A highly desired feature of the live player community "Live Game Clock" (like in chess) has finally been implemented. That is, you can now set the total time that a player should have available. After this time has expired, the player is turned into a Vassal (Mother of Dragons expansion). This is 10x better than turning the player into a bot, or turning their remaining units into neutral forces, since the house is still controlled by a human this way.
- The house cards of the Storm of Swords expansions can now also be used
- Last but not least: A very cool custom feature "House Card Evolution" is now available as well. This means players start with their house card deck from the base game, but from round 5 onwards everyone gets their alternate house card deck (from the 3 expansions) back once the last card has been played. This also makes the game a bit more interesting thematically, as the expansion cards use characters from later in the story. (E.g. House Stark becomes House Bolton, Jon Snow fights for Baratheon, etc)

I never thought of that. I've got to try that one of these days. Sounds interesting
