Topic: Who wins when?
Posted: 2015-Nov-25 20:49
Many of us check statistics of each house and their win ratios under specific conditions, but I haven't seen anything that tells us which house wins in what round.  We know Stark is a late round victory and Greyjoy is a quick surge to a win early on.

I would like to know the percentages of wins per house per round.  For instance: What percentage of wins in round 5 go to Martell?

Similarly I would like to know things like: What percentage of Baratheon's wins happen in round 8?

Any thoughts on how we can figure this out?

Respectfully submitted.

I am currently querying JM on matters such as these. I think you're asking the first question (what percentage of wins in round x goes to house x) in a manner, through which you won't really get a useful answer, though.

The second question is interesting, however.

Yes.  The more I think about it the more useful the second scenario becomes.  It would be interesting to know when each house hits "critical mass".  For example, it would play into knowing just when to break an alliance for fear of my ally growing too powerful and stealing the game.

Not that I ever break alliances

Wow, sure wonder how Tyrell managed to win in round 2. Preceding mustering, another muster and 2 times loras but how is that possible in 2 turns to reload your deck.

Tyrell wins in round 2:

Aware this is with ACoK Expansion rules. Player wins with 6 castles.

You can reload it (ot at least reload loras) with wildlings
P.S. about the tyrell game i didn't count the mustered ship in the east

Nice!

Relative win rates might be interesting too.

Also, please note that these data are about 10 years old and mostly about 1st edition games.
