i have played hundreds of 1st ed games. if lanni plays support +1 in the sept, marches a knight into the sept and a foot into rr (defense +2 in sea, change to raid if gj supports from ironmans), gj can only take rr if he marches all three of his men into rr and uses the blade & balon/victarion. which is a bad move considering stark will be bearing down on seaguard/ greywater, and gj forgoes flints and seaguard, so limited muster available if he goes down that path.
maybe emp would be okay if it didnt impact bara. the only real way to balance the game would be to downgrade gj knight, and include house arryn in the vale.
As it stands stark is to powerful. if gj gets nerfed, its harder for them to assault stark. it is also hard for bara to assault stark with martell breathing down his neck, as taking over baratheon is the best way to win as martell.
perhaps it is time for us experienced players to develop our own seven player game, test it via play by forum, and then maybe one day it gets coded into the site as an option.
we must be the solution!
