Soooooo 2 people have said baratheon so far and if that's what the people demand I'll try to get round to it soon but I find them the most boring house in the game.

I have a hunch that dragonstone crackclaw and Kings landing will feature very lowly in other houses 7 Castle lists apart from martell (and stark with crackclaw)

I suspect this is because two of baratheons immediate neighbours, tyrell and lannister have no practical way to take dragonstone. This means that a counter attack backed by sea support awaits the brave player who dares take the stag homelands. I personally find them a lot harder to keep than take when fighting baratheon

I find Baratheon to be one of the most reliable, but interesting houses, because despite boring cards they are along with Tyrell one of the true middles houses. This means their diplomatic options are wide open, and their win conditions probably include every castle but Oldtown and the Greyjoy home territories (though they will clash with GJ semi-regularly, it will just be over Stark territory).

My guess is that 7 castles wins will be heavily weighted toward Stark castles, while if you took a more holistic approach you'd see a lot more tiebreaker wins with the spread of 5-6 castles among the Reach/Storm's End/Harrenhall and partial Dornish conquests where Sunspear or Starfall come into play.

You seem to really want to look at non 7 Castle wins! I'm not arguing they aren't legit and might look at them later on. It'd be interesting to see if they line up with the 7 castle wins or are completely/significantly different.

God I wish I had some software to do this...

There's definitely a way to do this, even without needing to go to JM's database...can probably go through each game from a certain number onwards (to include Lannister ship, CLA tiebreakers, etc.) and check the website HTML elements to look for 6p rated games where Tyrell wins. Unfortunately, I don't know how to write software to do that myself, but it is possible

Didn't JM say that there is an API to extract stats or something like that in some post around ?

Yeah, I think he has something on his end, I don't know if he made it public or not and I can't find the post he discussed it on
