I joined a beta PBEM game recently but then noticed it started without me / assuming I was kicked from the lobby.

Does the host not have to provide a valid explanation for a lobby kick or can they just boot out anyone they don't want to play / don't like the look of?

Everyone is free to play with whoever they want to play indeed. My guess is that the host wanted to play with a somewhat more experienced live player, since your live game speed sample isn’t big enough to show a certain speed in your account.

The game was not a live game though. It was PBEM and my PBEM speed is super fast right now / zero kicks

I can supply the game id via private message if needed? I thought password games can be created if folk only want to play certain players?

Not a big issue in grand scheme of things but would be positive if you were able to get a notification with a reason on why you were booted from a lobby.

It could be me, so I can give a valid explanation I suppose. In the game is filter by speed, but no filter by points/games played. I looked for players with at least 500 points.
